Hello everyone! My name is Cameron Smith, and I am a 2D & 3D Animator, Voice Actor, Character Designer, and Video Editor. Since starting my journey I have had the pleasure of having numerous great teachers. From the faculty at The University of Waterloo's Theatre and Performance Program, to the faculty at Conestoga College's Animation program, to one on one coaching with Melissa Altro and Voice Pro Studios. Working in theatre and live entertainment, I have been on both sides of the stage - as an actor and a technician. This has given me an unique perspective on the creative process - I can approach aspects like story, character, and emotion with the lens of a creative - but also asses the needs of the project from a logistical standpoint. I have been commended by my peers for being someone who is friendly to work with, and who keeps wider scope in mind. I believe being a well-rounded creative requires some knowledge of every step - and a mastery of your own! I am available for work - and would love to be a part of your next project!
